Delivering the Learning Video to the Intended Audience

The learning video was delivered through two different groups: patients who were referred for a genetic counseling appointment with Genome Medical and patients who were assessed as needing cancer genetic testing at their doctor’s office. Genome Medical tracked initial engagement rates and rates of completion through internal systems and collected learner feedback via a brief survey.

The RISE Patient Education Module was successful in achieving its initial goals, with high levels of engagement and completion rates among patients. Future research will assess patient knowledge gained from the program compared to genetic counseling, with the goal of replacing routine education sessions with digital opportunities. By prioritizing patient engagement and experience, Genome Medical demonstrated its commitment to innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
